Capitalised terms used here shall have the same meaning as that given in the Terms and Conditions.

Other than as set out below, we offer returns for unused Goods within 30 days of the delivery of the Goods. 

This Returns and Exchange Policy does not affect your statutory rights

RETURNS & REFUNDS

If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, or it does not meet your requirements, you can return it to us by following the “How to Return an Item” below, provided that it is in its original condition and packaging, within 30 days of the date you received it and we will issue an exchange or a full refund for the price you paid for the item (excluding the original delivery charge). Only in case of returning faulty item/s, the delivery charge will be refunded along with the amount paid for the goods.

The Company reserves the right to refuse a refund where the Good is returned damaged or showing signs of use or wear, or where it is not in its original condition and packaging.

Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt. If items are returned after this time, we are within our rights to refuse a refund but may be willing to offer an exchange, subject to it being in pristine condition. This will be at our sole discretion.

In order to obtain your refund:

  • The identification tag must not have been removed from the item.
  • The Returns Authorization Number should be shown on the outer packaging and inside the box.
  • The box containing the item/s should not have anything stuck or written on it. It should be returned in its pristine condition.
  • Ensure that the outer packaging for your return item is suitable to protect it while in transit to our return address.
  • The item must be returned in a clean, unused and unaltered condition and in its original packaging.
  • Refunds will be made within 14 days from receipt at our return address.
  • Refunds will be made to the original means of payment.
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

AMOUNT TO BE REFUNDED

Where a refund is accepted in accordance with this policy, the Customer shall be refunded the total amount paid for the item/s, excluding the delivery charge. Only in case of returning faulty item/s, the delivery charge will be refunded along with the amount paid for the goods.

If the Customer is returning an item for any reason other than it being faulty, the Customer shall pay for the delivery cost of returning the item. If the Customer is returning an item due to it being faulty, we shall refund the delivery cost of returning the item.

If the Customer is returning an item to us because it is incorrect, we will only refund the delivery cost of returning it to us if the item is wrong through an error on our part and not if the product was wrongly ordered by the Customer

EXCHANGES

  • We are unable to offer exchanges unless the item ordered is faulty. Please contact our Customer Service team on CS@savyytech.co.uk for more details.
  • If you would like to exchange an item you will need to return the original order for a refund, and place a new order.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen in transit if they are not sent back via Royal Mail Recorded, Special Delivery or through recognized courier. Please note that unidentified returns (WITHOUT RMA NUMBER) will be returned to the sender and will not be refunded. Any item returned after the given time period will only be refunded at our discretion.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

The following process must be adhered to in order to successfully return an item to us and receive a refund or exchange:

1. Initiate your return: In order for you to return the item,

you need to send us an email on CS@savyytech.co.uk, requesting the same and stating the reason for doing so. We will then issue you with the Returns Authorisation Number (RMA) and send you the address where you will need to return the goods.

2. Packaging your return: Returned items must be in their original packaging, in the condition in which they were received with the security tag intact. We will not accept returns of any items that have been used or have had their security tags removed. Please include all the original packaging and any additional materials supplied.

3. Indicate the Returns Authorisation Number (RMA): To enable us to process your return more efficiently, we ask you to include the RMA number with your item. The RMA number should also be shown on the outer box that the item will be packed in. If an item is returned without the RMA number, we will not be able to process the return. In this instance, we reserve the right to return the item to you, provided we have the information with the returned item.

4. Shipping your package: Returns should be sent via an insured and traceable method, such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, as we cannot be held liable for any items which go missing in the post and do not reach us. If you use Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery then you can check to see if we have received your parcel on the Royal Mail website’s track and trace facility. If a parcel does go missing and never reaches us, it is your responsibility to claim for the item from Royal Mail or the courier used. Please note that if you do not pay enough postage for the parcel and we have to pay a fee to take receipt of it, then we shall deduct that amount plus a £10.00 administration fee from any refund.

5. Issuance of the refund: Please allow up to 14 working days after receipt by the Company of the returned item for all refunds and exchanges to be processed. Refunds will be made to the original means of payment.

If the return instructions are not followed, we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to returned shipments. We withhold the right to refuse returns that are improperly packaged.

FAULTY ITEMS

If for any reason you receive goods that are faulty or damaged, you can return the item to us for exchange or refund. You need to advise us by email within 48 hours of receiving the faulty or damaged goods that the item is faulty or damaged. No claims will be entertained if the above guidelines are not adhered to.

Once you have notified us that the item is faulty or damaged within the time limit above, we will send you an email with the RMA number. You will need to return the items by following the steps outlined above in “How to Return an Item”.

In the unlikely event that your product develops a fault within a short and reasonable period from receipt then you can return it to us and, if we find it to be faulty, we shall exchange it for you. If, however, the fault is due to excessive wear or accidental damage you will not be eligible for an exchange. If it is found to be faulty, we shall also refund your postal expenses in the form of a cheque. Please note we cannot make any concrete promises to exchange an item or issue a postal refund until we have seen and assessed the item.
